Valerie Aurora@mjausson these are long term scams where the scammer builds a long-term text-only relationship that they then turn into a cash request. Currently the people doing the texting are often effectively slaves in Myanmar or similar. The 6 months of texting could probably be done with lower labor with the assistance of LLMs, meaning they could run more scams simultaneously.
