I need fewer armchair prognosticators telling me some bullshit. It doesn’t change the outcome. There are no ‘backsies’ if people wake the fuck up tomorrow.

What they on TV will absolutely not do is tell us how to move forward.

I saw clips of this, and it was really fascinating. This is the whole shebang.

The takeaway I get from this has less to do with Harris' vs Trump policies, but rather, the need to have good civics classes in schools.

These folks have A LOT of passion (and it's great to see this engagement) for something they really understand very little about.

Also, the format is utterly wild. Maaaybe too pro-wrestling meets Marina Abramović, but compelling.

Something happened in modern versions of MacOS where having a boot disk that isn't the internal one causes all sorts of weirdness. And… I'm not even sure you can *do* that on some of the newer hardware.

Social platforms on the web aren’t inherently bad. Federated platforms don’t inherently ‘fix’ the problems associated with large corporate platforms.

The problems most people identify with large corporate platforms are entirely social, and have nothing to do with who owns them. It has everything to do about people in charge deciding that these social problems matter and should be solved for.
