   I frequently fret over NPR’s going out of it’s way to both-sides shit, but today’s news was Simone Biles-level gymnastic bullshit.

   ‘Biden has repeatedly said he’s not stepping down but if he did, these are the people on the list…’

   And then…

   ‘None of these people said they were attempting to run, and in fact have repeatedly re-upped their support of Biden publicly since the debate…’

     @octothorpe I gave up on NPR years ago to save my blood pressure. The prospects for the next several years are grim at best. I’ll be throttling down my news intake from now on. Knowing our marriage is likely to be rescinded is infuriating enough, but also knowing that a third to a half of the country will say “Not my problem” is really troubling. A bit like living through the AIDS crisis in the 80s and 90s.
