@bmacDonald94 I'm hoping the book will be good. The author spent a lot of time with Cohen during his final years and there's a wadge of interesting colour photos in the middle.
And this was my burfday present to myself, which amazingly arrived today, a month early, instead of the end of September (it was a pre-order). Thank you, Leonard! (I know, weird!)
@HauntedOwlbear So interesting to read this post, because just this week I bought a book by a author from Nunavut and it was the first time I have ever seen a content warning in a book:
@CloudyMrs Look hon, don't argue with me about it - if you have thoughts about this, take it up with the Greens who have put forward this plan - Ariane Burgess and Lorna Slater. I'm sure they will find it useful to hear your points.
@CloudyMrs Really? I find both Humza and Stephen Flynn very inspiring. They pull no punches taking on the other parties. Same goes for Deirdre Brock. And one mustn't forget some quieter figures at Holyrood who are just dug in and working up a storm, such as Shona Robison and Shirley Ann Somerville.
@thomasfuchs I still miss Steve Jobs. No one could ignite ignite as much excitement over a product as he could, certainly no one today can. A true visionary.
Important to me right now: halting climate change; fighting the resurgence of fascism; winning Scottish independence.Banner is a photo of my bicycle "AKA freedom machine" in my garden last summer.
