@girlonthenet I hate that we all only learned the violent, tears-streaming-down-one's-cheeks version of rape and so if it's anything less brutal the doubts immediately start. It took me years to realize that being made drunk so I don't say "No" doesn't constitute consent just because he didn't need to be violent that night.
But I'm glad and proud of you for having channeled your rage, for having reacted so well. I hope I can manage even half of your strength should I be in that position again.
