It really is that simple. The tech you hear about (mostly) buys positive press by using professional PR teams. They put out press releases, they invite journalists to launches, they put people forward for interviews.

We on the left seem to expect this to happen naturally. It doesn't.

It utterly astounds me how many Americans are getting totally overwrought about the UK's #OnlineSafetyAct.

Meanwhile, here in the Rest of World, we've endured decades of having the USA's laws like DMCA, Sarbanes-Oxley, COPPA being imposed on us.

It is hilarious how out of touch they are.
