@blogdiva I know it would be a pain to juggle finances to function w/o a cking acct or a credit card, but I'm telling people, they need to seriously consider withdrawing their money - all their money. Trump has already attempted an attack on the FDIC. He wants it shut down. FDIC is government backed insurance for deposits at or below $250K. I'm sure there are other factors. If anyone thinks THIS government will insure their money if their bank closes, they're delusional.

Anyone who treats Trump like a responsible adult is an idiot & deserves what he dishes out.

Today he may say he's "pausing" tariffs, but after he changes his underwear (if he changes his underwear) he will decide to impose tariffs again.

He had shrapnel left over in his back & he walked with a prominent limp. He wasn't like any other doctor I have ever worked with; down to earth, no holds barred & matter of fact with opinions & treatment.

He once told a patient about a cyst he was about to incise, "what's seen on the surface is 1/5 of what's below & unseen."

That's how I feel about this story.

@GottaLaff I just got hit with a 20% increase in my car insurance from State Farm. The reason - increased cost of repairs.

People are so overly focused on the price of fk'ing eggs that they aren't seeing the broader picture of what Trump is costing us in real time.

I had to buy 4 new tires yesterday. They were manufactured in Mexico. Fortunately, those had not increased in price yet.

That said, I fully support counter tariffs from other countries.

If you need to blame someone for the current state of political affairs, look past Trump & Musk.

Our sights should be set on Mike Johnson & the entire GOP House & Senate because w/o them, there wouldn't be a Trump & Musk.

We can blame the rich all day long, but w/o the amoral greedy hate mongers who make up congress, what we're experiencing wouldn't be happening.

These men & women abandoned all semblance of integrity & lawfulness the day they acquitted Trump in the 1st impeachment.

The most vulnerable Americans will be forced to stay in the United States and endure whatever additional hardships coming from the government.

Other countries don't want and are unlikely to accept people from here who don't have an independent source of income and those who don't have a skill that a country may want or need.

The majority of seniors, even if able bodied, can't move. Disabled adults, children & their caregivers can't move.

Do we, all U.S. citizens, want "this" to stop? I think we do, but what are we willing to do, or even try to do, to make it stop.

The quickest non-violent way is to remove their access to our money. Yes, it's ours.

1) Don't file a 2024 tax return & stop having fed income tax deducted from your salary

2) Withdraw ALL your deposits from ALL banks & credit unions. Take your cash out and use money orders. Yes, it's inconvenient, but so is this coup

*Take photos of your family members.
*If you have a safe storage space, fill at least 2 5 gal containers w/gas.
*Stock your pantry with non perishable food and bottled water (don't forget pet food)
*Depending on you financial capability, convert some cash to gold - Musk is attempting to crash the dollar
*Stock home with emergency power supply, lanterns, candles etc
*Refill all prescription meds

The men/women in Congress who are "afraid" to vote or speak out against Trump are the same ppl who gave him the power to go after them & they are the same ppl who can take that power away via the impeachment process.

If GOP in Congress believe he's going too far, and some of them do, then they can stop him.

The real question is, why won't they? It must be bec they are afraid of each other. They can't trust their peers to follow through. They other reason - they like what he's doing
