Jimmy Akin says that the "rapture" wont' happen until the after the reign of the anti-Christ. But he also assumes the antichrist is not currently reigning. In fact the early church doens't believe it AT ALL.

@realcaseyrollins well I have often get the we're upgrading the system so you count log on, and in the 13 years I've been on the 'verse I have had at least half a dozen instances just dissappear, like the domain expired and the admins didn't bother to do anything about it.
I have been struggling, or more like giving into, sin lately. A lot of the same sins that my dad had struggled with when he was my age. Before he accepted jesus. Makes me wonder if maybe I should have just messed around when I was younger and then turned my life around instead of whatever the hell I'm doing now
@tyler not that it matters, unless you count the LDS, no Christians are tithing anywhere near full 10%.
I remember taking Dave Ramsey's #FincialPeaceUniversity and he mentioned that people always argue whether the tithe is on the gross or the net pay and he said he wasn't going to get into that debate since none of you are doing it anyway, and just make sure you put it in the budget.
I looked up giving percentages online later comparing various churches and the only one that came remotely close was Mormons and I'm pretty sure they actually audit members finical records.
@tyler today I learned disannuls is like inflammable, where the pre-fex that sounds like it should change causes the word to mean the opposite of the root word actually makes the word mean exactly the same thing.
Now the question: Is there a disdisannul like there is ininflammable?
Initial search appears to indicate "no" but it also didn't show ininflamable, which I know is a word.
@christianselig as many others have said I use mutliple depending on what I'm doing. My primary I put as "something else" I sometimes claim I'm self hosting, but not really, its just my custom domain name with the SMTP/IMAP services of my webhost. hostgator.com
I don't know how you can not have a local congregation. There's so many things you can't due by yourself, including tithing, sacraments, etc. The early church was all communal. The idea of "I have got me and my Bible and my personal relationship with Jesus" that was big when I was in college, isn't even Biblical.
