   Trump's latest proclamation that Biden's pardons are invalid because they were signed by autopen should scare us for many reasons. Aside from the constitutional bogusity and revenge-based politics, it's also reminiscent of the Calvinball-like legal "theories" advanced by those tiresome "sovereign citizen" wackos (e.g. "the court has no jurisdiction because the wrong flag is flying in the courtroom").

     Originalists might be disturbed to learn that Sharpies didn't exist at the time the constitution was ratified, and should therefore be considered no more valid than the autopen for signing official documents.

     @burnoutqueen I agree with you, but why would you try to use that CONstitution of no authority to claim its how things should be dealt with. If it said the president could become God if elected it still wouldn't be so.

     Trump has objectively committed insurrection against the United States. This isn't about opinions.

     Trump incited an auto-coup in an attempt to invalidate the 2020 presidential election and unlawfully install himself as the president for another term.

     I am not a patriot, and I profess no love to a constitution that was written by slave owners, rapists, and genocidaires. I am just stating the facts and my interpretation of them.

     @fulner I don't think it's how things should be dealt with.

     I believe the only way to address the world's problems is to adopt a form of radically democratic socialism and work towards the construction of a classless society.

     The revolution itself must be done in a way consistent with democracy.

     Not electoralism. Actual direct or participatory democracy within all revolutionary organizations.
