Chat GPT was released for general consumption on 30-NOV-2022, according to wikipedia, and it was FAR AND AWAY the biggest and most socially-impactful such release.
That's like 2.5 years ago if you round up.
How in the FUCK have students already been so infected with its particular brand of brainrot that it's poisoning actual, important software? There's NO way in hell that anyone could have integrated it into a curriculum strongly enough that they could've become fully dependent on it AND graduated en masse yet, right?
It's not just me that takes more than 2.5 years to completely change how they think , right?
