@darfplatypus I often tell colleagues "my skills need to still work at 4am with a broken keyboard sitting on a shitty DC trolley with an air conditioner blasting me in the face"

@bangskij Try using `ufs` instead of FreeBSD - that's talking about the disklabel not the file system

I also recommending creating a clone of the disk in case of error `dd /dev/sdb1 image.raw` if you have enough space for the image

@jplebreton part of it is that people are hitting everything randomly. My node gets 10+ hits an hour to its search endpoint for random subjects, which is just berzerk behaviour for a crawler in general

@farah I have heard of that story of the fish turning into a dragon primarily in the context of the Pokemon Majikarp - which is a reference to the story of the Koi and the Dragon Gate (which apparently is a motif)

The other might be en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shuimu ? Which I mostly know through Laurence Yep's work en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_o…

      Shuimu
Shuimu (Chinese: 水母), or Shuimu Niangniang (Chinese: 水母娘娘), is a water demon, spirit or witch of Buddhist and Taoist origin in Chinese mythology. She is also identified with the youngest sister of the transcendent White Elephant (Buddha's gate-warder). According to Chinese folklore, she is responsible for submerging Sizhou (an ancient Chinese city located in today's Anhui Province) under the waters of Hongze Lake in 1574 A.D. and is currently sealed at the foot of a mountain in Xuyi District. However, different tales of Shuimu exist in different regions of China. For example, in Suzhou, Anhui she may be a demon goddess, while in Taiyuan, Shanxi it is believed that she was a woman who was gifted a magical whip by an old man. In Mandarin, the word "Shui" means 'water', "mu" is 'mother', and "niangniang" may mean a goddess. Shuimu is also referred to as The Old Mother of Waters, Fountain Goddess, and Sea Goddess. Appearance She has been described in some sources as a woman who can turn into a snake or dragon. According to Henri Dorés "Researches into Chinese...

@overeducatedredneck I'm thinking VoidLinux, Slackware, or SourceMage, the last because it's at least stupid.

The other option is to just give up and roll my own.

@hypolite @bagder Yeah - that's reasonable. I guess it's Jellyfin vs Apache. And I know - all I care about is shoving "ALL THE CIPHERS" into the Jellyfin box and done (though Jellyfin doesn't actually have this checkbox)

@hypolite @bagder I guess it depends on how you define "app".

I tend to believe it means "all application code" which might be archaic.
