You don't have to seek it, it's right here, I would love to end your life and have you meet god, and yet you hang on to the material world. Why aren't you worshipping Rome when it has more authority than Jesus then? On the other hand if you're saying Jesus was consciously doing that to fulfill prophesy then you're discounting the whole thing, his life and crucifixion meant nothing.

@BowsacNoodle Jesus didn't escape his crucifixion despite probably being able to, even discounting all the nonsense miracle stuff. He meekly got on the cross when people told him to, as should you.
