    @SuperLutheran I think the 1 in 1000 that might come back to Christ would be cases of legitimately crazy people who want to cured (as in they want to not feel dysphoric).

    I forgot the drug that @Godcast has mentioned that can possibly cure a lot of gender dysphasia. It's either some mineral (a lithium compound maybe) or some very simple biomolecule that is not hard to make.

    So for pennies a day you could probably suppress any dysphoric feelings if you were mentally ill. And I imagine legitimately mentally ill people would want that drug, as it means you don't have to dangerous, unholy surgery (it's unholy because you're spitting in the face of God when you cut-up and sterilize the body given to you by God).

    But the 999 out 1000 who want to rebel, I personally don't think they want a cure for dysphoria. They want to modify their bodies and do butt stuff. They want more advanced homosexuality that involves surgical modification. If you went up to someone considering hormones and surgery and said "Wait, you don't have to do this I have a cure! You'll feel comfortable in your body if you take 5 mg of this a day".

    That person would probably look at you and say "But if I'm not dysphoric then can't surgically turn my benis into a crude mockery of the female vagina."

    Two things that just make me confused and angry are: the thought of having to update the firmware of everything I own that draws a current and the inevitable bricking of things that rely on servers.

    With point one I just find it ridiculous that I would ever want to have to worry about the firmware of anything beyond a router, printer and maybe a NAS. Why complicate your life further?

    Second, why can’t anyone ever just put shit in ROM? Why does everything have to be looked up from a server. Just make a TV with everything it needs as factory default with no option or need for connectivity.

    I've been gone for more than a week and all I know is for some reason Marjorie Taylor Greene and some tranny streamer (AKA people who are likely to have long and storied KF threads) are calling KF terrorists because someone swatted them? Is that what caused all this or am I missing something?

    @johnbudd1350 @Vsolid This is the guy who's saying Martin Luther was a jew and all protestantism is bad.

    Now that's funny to me because basically all my family (being mostly German) is either Catholic or Lutheran and while there might be small disagreements, none of them would call the other bad for practicing their faith. Generally, people who interact with others IRL don't say dumb stuff like that.

    What's also funny is that someone who says they love Hitler is stirring the pot with religious infighting. Really makes you question their motives and intelligence.

    Feels like a bad sign of things to come and I hope I'm wrong. What's so annoying about this is that so much of the friction here seems unnecessary. Seems like it should be easier for people to reconcile differences but apparently not.

    @Bro-Drillard Exactly, if there was more awareness about the resources and work needed to make things you could have a real discussion. It could even be something along the lines of “it is possible to make passenger cars that use batteries, but should every car use batteries or should we have a mix of things so we don’t destroy the earth mining for every last gram of Lithium and Cobalt?”

    Instead what you get is people calling you a heretic for denying climate change if you bring this up.
