@SuperLutheran I think the 1 in 1000 that might come back to Christ would be cases of legitimately crazy people who want to cured (as in they want to not feel dysphoric).

I forgot the drug that @Godcast has mentioned that can possibly cure a lot of gender dysphasia. It's either some mineral (a lithium compound maybe) or some very simple biomolecule that is not hard to make.

So for pennies a day you could probably suppress any dysphoric feelings if you were mentally ill. And I imagine legitimately mentally ill people would want that drug, as it means you don't have to dangerous, unholy surgery (it's unholy because you're spitting in the face of God when you cut-up and sterilize the body given to you by God).

But the 999 out 1000 who want to rebel, I personally don't think they want a cure for dysphoria. They want to modify their bodies and do butt stuff. They want more advanced homosexuality that involves surgical modification. If you went up to someone considering hormones and surgery and said "Wait, you don't have to do this I have a cure! You'll feel comfortable in your body if you take 5 mg of this a day".

That person would probably look at you and say "But if I'm not dysphoric then can't surgically turn my benis into a crude mockery of the female vagina."
