The next girl for the month of WaifusOfColor is a classic: Nadia!
This one is not a girl from a gacha game, but from a 1990 anime series titled Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water (Fushigi no Umi no Nadia). The series is mostly focused on her along with the mysteries surrounding her origins and her blue jewel necklace. Just like much of Hayao Miyazaki's girls, she's supportive of animals (she's vegetarian), and doesn't trust most adults. Later on, she develops trust with the main character, Jean, and eventually get together in the end. She accepts that not everybody's gonna eat only plants, too.
There were some similarities between this and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, but while some plot points were suspiciously similar at first, I didn't care since they have their own distinct features that don't seem nor feel like ripoffs at all.
Post more Nadia artwork, show notes, fanart, or anything else from this great anime. Nadia.jpg
@sun@arcana@mia Adobe Flash was changed to Adobe Animate to get rid of the whole Flash brand and reputation. Toon Boom and Moho Pro are notable competitors for 2D animation production. AnimateJune2020-1536x864.jpg moho.jpg
@SuperSnekFriend@EdBoatConnoisseur@Spingebill@Kyonko802 Speaking of systemd, the documentation is garbage for anybody new to Linux or GNU. There's plenty of elaborate reasons why it sucks, but I think the biggest bloated elephant in the room is that it's just hard to explain how to use it (and also no single "beginner's guide" nor handbook nor "for dummies"). Only someone like Poettering would think that systemd is simple to learn. (See Myth #5.) https://archive.ph/WZ4Fj systemd-light-vertical-color.png
@sun Who knows? All I know is that James Gunn isn't gonna save it, financially or otherwise (and I don't mind since the Big Two is just too sloppy for me to care).
Worldwide waifu production is essential for the growing and varied demographic that's sick of butterfaced women IRL. It's a useful political maneuver if done right, especially for the brown people.
@NEETzsche@ArdainianRight@ChristiJunior Also, an adult-oriented cartoon involving cute girls doing cute things really shouldn't be just some common Japanese thing. I understand that this is experimental for American animators, but there's already too many Family Guy/Simpson clones. not-girls-und-panzer.jpg
@ChristiJunior@ArdainianRight@NEETzsche Alternatively, just craft engaging cartoons with cute/sexy girls. Adult Western animation isn't fond of this for some bizarre reason.
@sun I want to make some of them myself, hardcovers, bindings, and all. Maybe even have a vanilla hentai tankobon in a hardcover format. 9126061165_fb6716a868_b.jpg
A simple man that likes to talk about cartoons, despite having a soft spot for animu, mango, doujins, and gaymes. Occasionally enjoys and talks about films. Often likes some tech, too. Slowly drawing and illustrating to make America's Art (and Animation) Great Again. It's best to follow since I don't post or reply too often; I sadly have work to do and Family Life™ in the way.
