@Moon@lebronjames75 I mean I'm guilty of buying it back in the day. It was fun for a playthrough but yeah the game didn't age gracefully and at the time it was really overrated. I still think Super Meat Boy was arguably the best indie game of that generation.
@mono@why If I learned anything about Bugthesda is if you buy their games at launch the only thing you get is a buggy janky mess and you're almost always better off waiting for the GoTY edition that has all the DLC packed in.
I haven't bought a Bethesda game at launch Since Fallout 3. I was hoping they were gonna do an expansion disc like Shivering Isles had for Oblivion but instead it was a GFWL so they forced you to buy it on their GFWL digital storefront that is now defunct so if you purchased the DLC there you can no longer access it unless you buy the GoTY edition again.
Fuck up and accidentally swing through a hall that leads to a end level transition.
Game auto saves and you can't revert back to re-do the collectables so I have to do the whole game over again if I want to get the achievement...
I think I know why this game was hated when it came out. The game at it's base has some cool mechanics but this game is really rough around the edges. I ended up rage shutting off my xbox because I was pissed I wasted hours only to find that out >_<. Luckily I haven't finished my playthrough yet so I guess I'm doing 3 playthroughs to get everything then.
@coolboymew Mélanie has no plan except to get some more bukake facials from Trudeau it worked for her thus fair to move up the political ladder just like it did for Kamala Harris though in Biden's defense he told her she only needed to swallow 10% for the big guy.
@coolboymew I guess I got high expectations of refurbs because I've bought quite a few refurbs in the past from Nintendo and other places and have gotten really good quality refurbishment.
I mean at th bare minimum I atleast expect the refurbisher to test that all the parts are working. Shipping a laptop with a non working bulging battery is not "refurbished" I told Newegg I want a replacement battery and it fell on deaf ears
@coolboymew Luckily I bought two one o the refurbs was for a relative of mine who's paying me to upgrade and setup their shit. I mean other than that I got a better than expected deal for the price. It came with a touch screen IPS panel and a nvme drive.
The other laptop I planned on giving to my dad to retire his T420 from 2011 needs a new battery and probably a replacement palm rest which will be another $70 in total if I get non oem parts.
The game still holds up well they buffed the AI a bit from the base Quake 2 game. IMO the N64 levels were the worst part of the whole set but it makes sense since N64 Quake 2 was designed around the Quake 1 engine due to hardware limitations.
@coolboymew Yeah they completely nixed the online component. Knowing R* and Take-Two they only did it because they can't monetize the shit out of it like they could with RDR2 and GTA 5.
@coolboymew I think the issue isn't so much the port being $50 it's the fact R* half-assed the RDR switch port and it got less features / content than the Xbox 360 / PS3 versions of the game that came out over a decade ago and you can get the Xbox 360 version of the game for $30 on a series console and it plays upscaled / better performance.
Honestly if you really want the definitive RDR experience you need to get a good PC and use Xenia since it's the only way you can play the game with 60FPS. All other ports / versions of the game run at 30FPS locked.
