    It's legal to make backups of copies of games you own per the DMCA. As long as you're not distributing them for profit or otherwise. I can see nintendos argument with downloading roms though since the roms are technically someone elses game that is being distributed but if you download it and own a copy of the game it's a gray area since technically the game on the cart and your digital backup should have the same MD5/SHA1 hash if it's a legitimate untampered copy and they can't really prove you didn't back it up or downloaded it off someone else.

    @Moon @coolboymew @internetfreak I need to do something similar myself. If I wasn't worried aobut long term finances I'd love to get a DCHDMI kit to have build in HDMI on the console. The external HDMI adapter I got from pound works but it kinda sucks for my setup pound cable is great for a 720p display or lower but at 4k it doesn't scale right and the picture is too small.

    I've heard Flycast and NullDC emulation has come a long ways and most games I cared about on DC have ports on other consoles now so I've contemplated selling it but I got a lot of sentimental value over it since I got it for my 16th birthday.

    @Moon @coolboymew @internetfreak I wonder if it the adapter needs a DAC since VGA is an analog signal and HDMI is digital.

    It could also be due to the dreamcast outputting resolution at 240p and some adapters hate that signal/resolution. Something like an OSSC would bypass that with upscaling/converting the signal.

    @coolboymew The beginning of the game isn't that bad. The game jumps up pretty quick in difficulty once you get to the Mohole boss fight and later on. The soldiers aren't the problem it's the flying robots that feel like they weren't play tested and there's no real strategy to beat them except spam them with nades , nade launcher , rockets. Or hope you can get them into a stun position where you can throw objects at them.

    Took me a late night gaming session but I finally completed a run of Bionic Commando 2009 where I got all the collectibles , challenges , and game beaten at once in Commando (hardest) difficulty and now have the 1000/1000 full game completion on xbox 360.

    I'm just glad I never have to touch this game again. Soo much potential and on Commando mode the flaws of this game's janky controls are glaring and it was a frustration completion at times.
