It’s 3.4% that we hopefully give to our children and their children.

But then far too many cannot imagine any act that is not purely selfish.

@skinnylatte when I was in India a few weeks ago, 2 of my coworkers with family in India had extra bags to bring back things. Jaggery was on the top of the list. One even had another bag delivered there from Amazon India.

Traveling with that much luggage gives me anxiety but… delicious treats. It’s a hard call.

@skinnylatte @bentoh that was my worry. This is a gov't wide problem where they don't really understand how the private sector comp model has changed in tech. I remember being invited to apply for a GS-15, which would have been a pretty ugly pay cut because of the stock side of things.
