@petrillic @bentoh the prevailing wage doesn’t include rsu. It’s just the floor of basic comp. So public data about a Apple engineer making 160K doesn’t include the 250+ in RSUs

This is a gov't wide problem where they don't really understand how the private sector comp model has changed in tech. I remember being invited to apply for a GS-15, which would have been a pretty ugly pay cut because of the stock side of things.

Arguably I'm biased as I watched Netflix bend the arm of my H1B manager until he fired me while I was incapicitated & on leave with depression.
