Frightfully silly indeed. Project constituents are people with vibrant and, yes at times organic motivations, directions, "gestalting infrastructure"

Product, hmmm, that's a land mine of a definition. Sometimes it means binaries, sometimes it means item for sale. Or service for sale.

I.e programming inkscape is my product which produces the product inkscape which is produced by the project inkscape as a public good production. :ablobcateyesflip:

Abstractions are just types of leverageable mental designs. Teaching good design fundamentals should be a cornerstone of the second or third year. Anyone why wants to create their own abstractions, be they APIs, command line flags, user interfaces or even databases, should be required to do design as an art.

A lot of groups moved to saying "Software Freedom" although that gets a bit clunky too.

Don't mind me, just sitting back and relaxing after a hard week of knocking out PDF importer bugs in #Inkscape. And these weren't the baby bugs, these were the old crusty mean looking bugs that have been with us for a very long time.

The Good Place though, that was a wild ride. And plenty of lower tier stuff has been great on Netflix or youtube.

I'm really unhappy with the #webdesign i did for the #Inkscape gallery on the website. Its... just not very good. Functional, barely, but not top of my proudest contributions. https://inkscape.org/gallery/ (the worst part is the voting y'all see next week :ac_fearful: )

I admit going through customs at Frankfurt was bitterbitter this morning. The staff were very kind, but this is the first time I've had to deal with #brexit consequences in real life since I live in the USA and hadn't left since before the big oven ready turkey.

I will never stop being #European. Even if I'm no longer an #EU citizen. And i think only living in the USA for some time can you really understand just how culturally european the British really are. Despite the rhetoric.

You've got to hand it to the #Tories and their need for greed.

They will not stop until they own all the goals. ?
