That's false balance.

Anyone who's telling you that copyleft is problematic to business, isn't in the business of building software, but in the business of taking without giving back.

I am paid to make software, I wouldn't license my code as BSD. Because it lacks protection my business needs.

The core is: Create a business where you can be paid for the work you are doing and not depend on the work that you did in the past.

I don't think this #inkscape about screen entry by Poyoman is in the spirit of the competition ?

@forteller this is certainly a bug.

It shouldn't remove the selected file type on reselection. A solid steps to reproduce would be good for the issue.

I think you are wrong.

Commercial software is not the opposite of free software. It's the opposite of volunteer software.

The ideal situation is that you pay for your free software. But most people do not, they depend on volunteers or worse, scraps from a big company which often have very different needs.

A good complaint is that few volunteer software project make commercial contribution possible, or easy. But that's a bit more involved.
