@mattblaze it distracts mightily from the Iran war and the unredacted Epstein files

Flood the zone with shit strategy requires more and more unhinged behavior

@mattblaze They do them openly as distractions

They also get the press to repeat their propaganda

They repeatedly try to invent evidence, but get the press to report that they're looking for evidence or even that they already have evidence which doesn't actually exist

@moonrabbit I believe @mlemweb posted about making a wrist/thumb brace a couple years ago, maybe it was mentions on the #FOSSandCrafts podcast

@dphiffer Strikes that truly indicate ProPublica should be avoided until they come to their senses

@dphiffer good to hear

The 3 strikes indicate where management negotiators want to go, which undermines credibility of management for a news organization

Hmm, I thought ProPublica was expensive subscriptions only, but I see that it is donation based

https://give.propublica.org/campaign/748664/donate?c_src=pb

Once there is a contract and a certainty there where won't be any AI drivel I will make a donation

People need to have the responsibility of and accountability for reporting and editing, that's what I want to support

@cwebber @Greg I see the print edition credits his wife as an editor

A recent post on the Fediverse about her helping with Animal Farm reminded me it's time to re-read that in addition to already having 1984 in the queue

Gonna look for a copy of My Country Right or Left as well

@GottaLaff Roberts wants each citizen to individually defend each civil right all the way up to the Supreme Court

Then we have to do it again to see if we still have civil rights on Tuesdays as well as on Wednesdays

@baconandcoconut missed the poll, but yes there is Tang in the house and in my go bags

Haven't tried hot tang, but will be hiking in the snow soon, so might try it

President Biden appointed Jessica Rosenworcel to chair the FCC and bring back Net Neutrality

The rule-making process can take years, but the FCC was able to restore Net Neutrality rules

The work isn't done :(, the Supreme Court is looking to overturn Chevron Deference, which could gut the FCC
