@cwebber I recently heard of the "solo unicorn"* and it is such a dystopian idea.

* AKA one person company built with ~"AI agents" worth over a $billion.

For the record, @cwebber is my CEO.

Hi.

A thing I like about The Expanse is the visual reminders that everything needs constant maintenance.

If a ship is in port it's being worked on. There's always something to be done.

I fear my oldest is getting real close to going down the red-pill/alpha male culture hole.

Please help me find material for me and him to guide back to reality.

@craigmaloney thanks for the update. Thinking about you often. "What would Craig say?" mostly. :)

@craigmaloney welcome home!

@eletious @Moon @ageha

I don't want to re-litigate Aaron's situation with anyone. Can ya'll untag me from any future replies?

Thanks.

When billionaires ask to do illegal copying of all known works it gets taken seriously.

When a kid simply downloads scientific articles too fast they (lawyers) hound him until he commits suicide.

Is there a good, privacy respecting, non "pay to download more than 5!", preferably open source #OpenStreetMap app for android?

#OSM

If a moderator/self-appointed spokesperson for an instance replies to a thread pointing out horribly racist and anti-semitic posts that they should block, but only as "followers only" and simply with "hope everyone is enjoying the holidays", is that bad?

It feels bad.

It's an instance that basically any of my followers would presume it's OK to federate with.

Our post thanksgiving walk turned weird.

@MicroSFF well crap, that means this bot dies?

Do I need an alt or just a real vacation?

Do I need an alt or just a void to scream in?

Do I need an alt or just a friend to talk to?

@brennen I'm going to create such a folder from this thread.
