@ShadSterling @inthehands You've pretty much just done what the OP asked not happen. We need to vote D in a very big way this year and stop being pessimistic about the party as a whole. If one doesn't vote in the primaries then one has not made the effort to put the best candidate we can into the general election. Voting in primaries the the way you pick which Democrat is in the election. But we are asking now that you vote D so we can pull our crashing country out of this dive.

@hacks4pancakes Decades ago, this company was claiming to have invented the operating system that would work across all computer platforms, Micro, Mini, and Mainframe. They hyped it, and it was called OS-2 (of all things, unrelated to MS OS/2). A friend who was an investor asked me to look at it. I explained in detail why it was not a good investment, and he didn't invest $50K. I was laughed at and told I was wrong.

Where is OS-2? A money pit that vanished a year later.

@kims We got our solar electric system installed by the end of 2025 deadline to receive our Tax Credit on our US taxes. That's a big deal because it's 30% of the cost of the installation. Woot!

@thomasfuchs I am in the market for a high tech coffee maker, there are none that meet quality control and high tech. I'm unwilling to risk my morning coffee to a tech bro's fever dream. Bought a Fellows and it leaked water on first use. Good coffee, but failed the basic quality control test.

@RickiTarr We too are going to go celebrate. I haven't flown a flag for a decade now, I still won't because I couldn't do so without flying it upside down.

We are going to our community picnic and will talk with like-minded people and the magats can go screw off. I'll be wearing Red-White-Blue and I plan on being part of the group of people that takes our country back from the fascists.

@zombiewarrior I won't argue that part. But from what we've seen, they are being sent to prisons where they become forced labor, not death camps. The primary difference between a gulag and Nazi concentration camps.
