@d6 It truly saddens me how many wizards nowadays have simply accepted needing to perform a ritualistic sacrifice _every_ lunar cycle just to keep their imp happy and there to help them work on spells.

Nearly any common woodland creature can be trained to become a Lesser Spellcasting Partner (LSP) that will serve as a wizard's faithful companion, that not only don't demand any sacrifices beyond needing to be fed and cared for the same as any other familiar, but are also _far_ more thorough than any demonic imp when it comes to helping to write and proofread newly designed spells. Plus they do so much more quickly! But they don't do nearly as much of the work _for_ you so Imps Are The Future!

Worse, some wizards have started turning to lesser imps that don't require a continuous connection to the underworld or regular sacrifices, but they still require _far_ more mana than other familiars, _and_ they're worse at their jobs!

I'm calling today to urge Senator [senator's name] to vote NO on H.R. 1, the House budget reconciliation bill. Two important parts of this bill stand out to me. Firstly, it will suspend trans access to healthcare. Trans healthcare barely makes a dent in the national budget, harms no one, and saves thousands of lives anually. Please do not allow this to be taken away. More importantly, there's a provision that will limit the enforcement of contempt of court charges. This was clearly included in the bill just to allow the Trump administration to defy court orders and the Constitution. I expect Senator [senator's name] to protect trans youth and the rule of law. Thank you.

I do believe it is likely that, should a general strike occur, strike breakers instructed to use deadly force will be deployed, as they were in the gilded age. Can we at least wait until that happens so we can call it self defense? And can we please restrict ourselves to using violence against those who would verifiably use it against us?

Innocent people who did not sign up to die for the revolution should not die for the revolution. This is not negotiable.

This might be a hot take but I think it would be good if when we went after billionaires we did not then decide to murder hundreds of thousands of innocent people and convince ourselves we were justified in doing so

we must have taken different history classes then because the way I remember it, once they finished beheading all the nobility, they started using it on random citizens they suspected of disloyalty, killing over 100,000 and ultimately culminating in the beheading of the leader of the Resistance
