@libreoffice I might just have the misfortune of seeing it more frequently as I have to reinstall and use libreoffice on multiple computers on the regular. If it saves that timestamp somewhere this might get wiped in the process. It just seems to appear every other time I open it, which grates me.
@libreoffice@soc In an environment where you just want to open a file, work on it, and then go on with your life, having banners which need to be clicked away adds another process to the work. This is counter-intuitive, bothersome, and those who have the capability to help out will have already moved to help out. All you're doing is nagging the end user. Just like how xscreensaver's "your distro is doing you a disservice" message got removed, it's a matter of time before these banners are.
@libreoffice Does it finally stop throwing banners at you when you first launch it? You know the ones "Get involved with" or "Donate to". I know how to do that, thank you. I've been using your product for a decade now. Stop it.
Destroy #Fascism any way you can. If you see the #Gestapo in your street, make sure they regret it. If you see #Fascist politicians, work to get them kicked the hell out of office. If you see them trying to gather at a rally, chase them the fuck out of town. Fight them everywhere you see them, in any which way you can. They don't play by the book. Neither should you. #StopFascism#FCKNZS
@RickiTarr Nikolai Tesla would be on the Fediverse, but Thomas Edison would have a blue checkmark on Twitter/X and have a secondary account on bluesky just to pretend he wasn't fully a fascist, and the pair would fight over which was better through a bsky bridge.
@noelreports I wouldn't hold my breath. The @EUCommission needs to do more for Ukraine. Putin's puppet in the white house is not going to do anything worthwhile.
@bkahn I'm sure Hegseth was just playing a game of #Warhammer with the rest and any links to real world events were totally coincidental... /s #Whiskeyleaks
@Fragglemuppet I am not blind myself, but I did a quick searchie for you regardless, I hope that's okay? Would this site have something you can use? The site itself should be friendly for screenreaders, from the looks of it? https://www.webbie.org.uk/
Hold them responsible for every action they take. Hold them responsible for every action they don't take. Hold them responsible for everything they say, and when they don't say anything when they really should have. Hold them responsible for the words they use, for the imagery they promote, for every single lie. Now is not the time of inaction. Now is the time to make sure we live in the world we want to live in, not the world which tries to divide and to break us. Act before the moment is lost.
