places I usually take visitors besides the intramuros area and the national museums:

quezon city: cubao expo, gyud food hub/ mang larry's, vargas museum (up diliman campus)

makati city: ayala museum, little tokyo

san juan city: corner house, pinaglabanan park (museo el deposito), greenhills mall

p.s: as a local, I just use grab. much safer.

the "kindle lockdown" news is so silly? I've been using kindles for nearly a decade and have never used the feature they're talking about/ removing. I've never needed to download an ebook *from* the device *to* my computer. I bought an e-reader literally to read the e-books there, and if I wanted to read it somewhere else there's still an app.

- shopped for crystals and pet treats
- thrifted a few clothes

spent an hour looking for my left earbud. eventually found it in one of our dog's hiding spots beside an old squeaky. it's fine it works however said dog was upset that I violated her privacy. 😂 she's a seven y.o. mixed breed and has always liked stashing things since she was a puppy.
