@sinbad I don't think I've known anyone with an NES. In Aus it seemed to mainly be Atari and Intellivision for consoles and later TRS-80 and C64 for home computers. At least the people I knew.

Anyway, here's Ant Attack and Spindizzy Worlds shirts. :)
    On Redbubble.

Wow, I just found tshirts for Shadow Of The Beast and Bloodwych! Also all of the Bitmap Brothers games (Gods, Chaos Engine, Speedball, etc)

@sinbad When I bought a few USB-C cables recently, I used my label maker to add tags to each of them saying the spec and power rating. For example I got a 3.2 Gen 1 5A 100W PD cable and a 3.2 Gen 2 3A cable.

The Raspberry Pi is a fun case, the recent ones need power ratings that many USB chargers don't supply. The Pi 4 needs USB-C 5V 3A. The Pi 5 needs 5V 5A. So my 2A Oculus headset charger isn't enough for a stable Pi 4, let alone a Pi 5.

@sinbad Even the PS5's DualSense 5 controller is still old school potentiometer sticks. MS, Sony, Nintendo and Meta all have potential problems with stick drift (although Nintendo is more infamous for it).

I'm just pessimistic about any of the big companies moving to hall effect or tunneling magnetoresistance. But it would be nice if they do.

@sinbad Are they definitely hall effect? I don't see it mentioned in the trailer or website.

@sinbad I still run into situations where I google for how to do something and find myself on twitter or the ogre forum telling people how to do it, but I have no memory of ever knowing the answer.
So I don't just forget how things I made work, I forget I even did them.

But I can remember student code from weeks ago, better than the students themselves. :)

@lritter @TomF @sinbad If you accidentally feed an incorrect item into a constructor, it can stop it working. The wrong item is just inside of the constructor's port where you can't easily pick it off the conveyor, blocking everything behind it. Deleting the conveyor and rebuilding fixes it.

@sinbad Had any USB devices changed? I've had very long bios times when I have certain USB devices plugged in while booting. (Mainly certain flash drives)

With the buggy/poor performance of Stalker 2 at the moment, I think I'm going to hold off on buying it until I upgrade my PC, or in 3 weeks when I take my work laptop home (my home PC is a 2080TI with 1950 threadripper. My work laptop is 4080 and some recent intel cpu. As a game dev teacher, I can justify a 4080 in a work laptop).

I hear the 50 series geforces may be months away, maybe. I might wait for them.
