On #InternationalMensDay here's your periodic reminder, fellow AMAB & prostate carrying people who are over 50:

Go see your doctor. Don't put it off. Ask for a DRE or a PSA test. Yes, DRE means a finger up your bum, get over it.

They probably won't find anything wrong, but if they do then early intervention will help you avoid the situation I'm in. PSA units should be 3-5; mine was 1206 and my prostate about the size of an orange.

Stage 4 cancer is no joke.

Watching someone I love with dementia sliding rapidly towards oblivion (at a distance) makes me feel utterly helpless.

@GossiTheDog I hope they take note of that, because NHSeB hold records of some of the most vulnerable people in the UK in health terms (like myself).

Lots of people who really don't give a flying one about a lot of stuff, and have no boundaries because they're not long for this world. Heaven forfend there's a decent sysadmin amongst their number...

It isn't JLR that's affected here though (although they are, and friends of mine who work for them are currently having nightmares) - it's their suppliers. By that argument, they should also have insurance.
I guess tying a small company's entire output to one upstream behemoth used to be a safe bet, but not now.
