@Oregon_Pacifist @slowlygoingsane I think once they put Bluetooth in the controllers, that's when they started to face enshitification. I have a launch model first party Xbox One controller and it still works great 10+ years later. It wasn't until 2015 or so that they added Bluetooth to the controllers

@segacity didn't realize this got a Saturn port. I have only played it in an arcade. Very fun light gun game with a fantastic Aerosmith tie-in.

@vga256 no, but I wish my PC sounded like a 90s computer booting up when I turn it on. Closest I have to that is my server-grade fan spinning up. Makes it sound like I'm in the school computer lab from 20+ years ago

@Oregon_Pacifist I love this game but I wish I could find time again to play it. Farthest I'd ever gotten to was the Ice Age time period on my DS playthrough. I still think it's the best way to play the game.

@vga256 I also rescue laptops occasionally with a friend at a recycle center whenever we meet up. Just like how car folks go out to the recycling center for spare parts, I go out for rare retro computer parts and laptops to restore

@vga256 me anytime I buy an old laptop off eBay that's listed as untested/for parts. Thankfully every one so far has either worked completely fine with minor cosmetic damage, or immaculate condition cosmetically but a faulty battery or disk/disc drive
