     So, I found a PS/2 breakout for a mouse port, but I'll need to determine the pinout first. Secondly I think the bios has a feature where it can make a USB mouse appear to the system as a PS/2 mouse, so I may not need to, we'll see.

     I have a 32GB SD card with Redhat 6.2 installed, I've popped that in an SD to CF card adapter, it all seems to like it and is booting ok.

     The IDE connectors are small, laptop sized connectors, there's a small laptop to desktop sized IDE cable. I need another to connect up a DVD drive to have some fun testing OS's, I found another cable in my stash, should do the job:

     I'll be leaving the board and riser to properly dry out for a day or two, in the meantime I decided to see if I could service the 40x20mm fan, 'waste not want not' and all that.
     This thing was terrible before, after taking it apart, cleaning and greasing it, it's great! 👍

     It's test time, as the bios is reset it will only post with an ISA card as default, let's see if it works and then change the post video device to PCI:

     @Gammitin I also just realized that is the same graphics as what is in my Dell Inspiron 7000. I'd like to try my hand at getting Redhat 5 or 6 running on it
