This is being installed under U.K. roads without official confirmation. This explains the excessive number of road closures at night. The inductors are one metre grids with brass handles each side. @thomasfuchs I have had a look at this elk Zone. I think it has some promise. The search function does return results after a fashion, rather than having no search at all.

@thomasfuchs One thing that happens is that unlike Twitter, new messages do not buffer but just appear, thereby disrupting your reading line until you scroll down to find the post again.
