@eaton Oh @eaton, never change.
Even when you're evaluating your own work, the innate pessimist highlights the shortcomings -- even as the opportunities are *right there* too.

@eaton I am delighted to see you evaluating your public works!
I feel like a lot of my public works over the last 5 years were (1) one big paper and (2) a million public emails.
So, in that spirit, I wonder what the next five years get to be for me. At least an LL.M. thesis on cybercrime, cybersecurity, international law and 'the law of unintended consequences' but ??
End of an era: today is my last day with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
I've so enjoyed my time here, I'm handing off to a great team that's well positioned to be successful longer term, I couldn't be happier with how this has wrapped up.
I'll take a week to reboot and will come back and tell you all what's next.
Escaped to the vineyard for the day.
@eaton So you're getting into home automation
Our ritual of wrapping up the week has a gravity to it: a parent left us.
There's no good way to enter the Dead Parent Club, but here, he left us after a long diagnosis and a short hospice care space.
Ever so grateful to them: saints on earth.
This may be the most trash panda dinner I have ever done: Cubano totchos.
Tater tots topped with swiss cheese and carnitas that have been seasoned with cumin and oregano, topped with more Swiss cheese.
Out of the oven, add dill pickle guacamole and a dab of whole grain mustard.
Gabriel will of course get some. Tomorrow, I will find a vegetable but today is not that day.
@eaton I feel like there was significant context around this that I missed
@eaton 👀
@evan Evan you put 2018 not 2019 on the poll
@evan evan.
@richardfontana @luis_in_brief @sogrady i hate all of it
@luis_in_brief @richardfontana @sogrady more coherently: who wrote this for who?
@evan @fraying In all honesty, you two at a dinner together would be right fascinating.
@spot You can say that "a community leader laughed at this and said we had brainworms".
@spot Controversial opinion that has absolutely no bearing on you personally: "You gotta work from Seattle or Portland (in the office)" < -- this is brainworms. (No, I know, you don't get a say.)
@mattl @shanselman i think we were hoping the platform wars were done.
Burrata + sun dried tomato pasta.
Gabriel is sleeping by the fire, he might get some pasta later.

the foundation of my radical cause in my increasingly old age is that I want everyone to be ok.Work at amye.orgJD with a focus in mediation, conflict resolution and GDPR because open source would never fightForthcoming LL.M in cybercrime + security
