I don't think you can. It should refuse to start due to the networked filesystem not supporting certain things. In conversation from friedcheese.us permalink -

feld (feld@friedcheese.us)'s status on Tuesday, 01-Oct-2024 04:18:49 JST feld @ncopa @resingm someone needs to focus heavily on IPv6 address reputation databases and *good* anti-DDoS tooling for IPv6. That's why a lot of sites do not enable it.
source: I contract for one of the biggest sites on the internet and that's why we can't enable it. CloudFlare, Amazon, other CDNs, etc are all incapable of dealing with IPv6 attacks as effectively as they do for IPv4.In conversation from friedcheese.us permalink -

just being pedantic here in case someone reading along is unfamiliar with all of this --
Theoretically 1460 as you forgot the 20 bytes overhead of IP itself, but due to different last mile internet technologies (e.g., DSL, things that add their own encapsulation) -- if you want to do it in one packet without having it fragmented you would want to aim for 1420. You'd do 1380 if you want to be ultra paranoid. Lots of VPNs will clamp at 1380 for that reason. In conversation from friedcheese.us permalink -
