personally, i find most hosting providers' dns tooling to be quite lacking. nowadays, i always use https://desec.io to handle my dns for my domains. they aren't a registrar, so you'd bring the same domains you already use.

to get started, you'd sign up at desec, then set the nameservers on your domain to the desec nameservers (they tell you what they are when you sign up), then just manage your records on desec

this is just a quality-of-life thing, though!

@_elena the other thing(s) i wanted to suggest were more checklist-style tools for your web apps and email:

the first two give you details on the current configuration of your web and mail services (http(s), dns, etc), and the last one is a tool for checking your email dns and is quite robust
