Windows 11, by default, takes regular screenshots of your computer. These are analysed for advertisement purposes, you can be sure of it.

Windows Recall blacks out copyrighted material from those screenshots, but not passwords or other sensitive information, including account numbers, TANs, etc.

This is not an issue for my bank.

Mandating spyware-ladden corporate operating systems should be grounds for getting their banking licence revoked.

I implemented all the acronyms – DKIM, DMARC, SPF, reverse DNS lookup, SSL in transport, PTR record. I enrolled on Microsoft's JMRP and SNDS, Google postmaster tools. I verified my domain. I got 10/10 on mail-tester.com., –, secured antispam measures, verified my domain, made sure my server is neither breached nor used to relay actual spam, added new servers with supposedly clean IPs from reputable providers, tried all the silver bullets recommended by Hacker News, used kafkaesque request forms to prove legitimity, contacted the admins of some blacklists.

@foone in Germany, which is infamously backwards and close-minded about i.e. disclosing 0days, you could go to prison for this.

Germany recently sentenced a software engineer to huge fines for cybercrimes, in a years-long trial that destroyed his career, because he found a plaintext password in a file, told the company about that vulnerability, and went public with it when they bitched at him what business he had finding vulnerabilities in their product (a client of theirs had hired him to figure out why his servers were crashing or smth) (and ofc he waited with the going public until the vuln was closed).

If there was no other option, I would elect conservatives to stave off an impending nazi government, fully aware of the short-livedness of that solution.

Meanwhile, some of you won't even elect outright socialists to stave off a nazi government.

And you pat yourselves on the back for not legitimising a democratic process that does not care about your seal of approval and just elected a nazi government with fewer left-wing opposition than could have been possible, thanks to your refusal to compromise the tiniest bit on your rigid ideology by electing people who share 90% of your values.

And that, I am sorry to say, is the problem with anarchists.

I am not an anarchist. I have many friends who are. I don't mind. I want a better world, they want a better world, we simply disagree about how to achieve that. I love and care for friends who are anarchists.

I would, and have on several occasions, marched with anarchists for shared causes. I have participated in their form of protest. I have worked together with people I have significant ideological differences with to make the world a better place.

But they won't do the same for me.

They won't cast a ballot for people who share 90% of their values, the only difference being achieving those values through governance instead of anarchy, to protect us all from people who would put all of us in camps regardless of whether we believe in voting or not.

They proclaim their innocence in the coming nazi government because they didn't vote for any of the (flawed) alternatives, yet they hold us, who voted for non-nazi parties, responsible for the electoral system as a whole, even though said system cares not one bit for how few % of the people voted because it doesn#t need legitimising.

I keep my mouth shut when my anarchist friends post their contempt for anyone who votes, anyone who is not an anarchist, into the world, because I am fond of them and want to be their friend despite that political difference. When I see them telling people who believe that having a constitution which at least guarantees basic human rights is actually not the worst situation to be in to fuck off, I keep my mouth shut, because anything I could say would only upset them and direct that anger towards me.

And I know full well that if I ever posted about my beliefs, about how I believe their refusal to take part in not voting in nazis is a danger to us all, as I post right now, they would not extend me the same courtesy of agreeing to disagree. I keep silent when they say things I consider blatantly dangerous, things that in their effect are no different than any "don't vote" misinformation campaign a Putin troll farm could put out, obvious logical fallacies and things that will result in more people not voting against fascists, I shut up so as to not endanger that friendship, and yet they would not do the same for me.

It's depressing, it's infuriating, and look at where it got us. Nazis win France and take second place in Germany.

Edit: don't put words in my mouth, I'm not blaming anarchists for fascism. I blame fascists for fascism.

I blame (some) anarchists for refusing to even try preventing fascism through electoral means and prioritising their ideological purity over our shared survival.
