@glider85 @gruber they're not "Facebook trolls", they're just people (and bots) on the internet. It's not like Facebook is paying people to act poorly; it just happens to be the platform they're using because that's where the most people are. Solving for better humans is a problem bigger than Facebook.

There are 1,783,232 apps on the App Store.

Apple reviewed 6,101,913 apps and rejected 1,679,694 of them.

Apple also terminated 282,036,628 customer accounts.

There are 36,974,015** **registered Apple developers, and 428,487 have been terminated.

@CalmlyBallistic I wouldn't impugn @lopatto's character without evidence (but that's just me). The strength and resiliency of the social web *should* be that it allows for all kinds of different spaces to exist — some that are safe for most people and some that are definitely not.

The Mastodon network isn't monolithic and shouldn't be, and to @lopatto's point — the default Mastodon.social does give a rather stuffy vibe, perhaps in response to the rough and tumble or the Twittersphere.
