@mischievoustomato @Sovereign @Shlomo I mean, i didn't specifically want her, but, ya know, had a similar thing with cartitheya, way early double, and had an extra 20 pulls with no pity built, so i just tossed it at her.. and bam.. her weapon didn't wanna come home though..

@Sovereign @Shlomo it was an 11+ hour unvoiced quest that you had to complete to move the story forward so ya could level up characters from that region that finally broke me and made me walk away, was like 3 years or so into the story..

@Sovereign @Shlomo if ya play it in a language ya don't speak , and treat it like watching one of those endless animes with lots of filler episodes, it's a solid time waster, but if ya play Wuthering Waves first, the exploration will be beyond painful.

@Sovereign @Shlomo eh, i mean, it's pretty predatory at this point if you want to do endgame stuff, your wallet is your primary weapon, but there is literally hundreds of hours of story, much of it voiced, you don't need to spend on the game, but it makes things much less tedious ... It looks great, plays decent, exploration is kind of a pain, stamina limited and slower movement for the genera, it's story and visuals, the events might drive ya insane though, collecting balloons, public domain music rhythm games, other really basic games, and the flying rat that follows you around and summarizes everything that was just said in an annoying high pitched voice every minute or so..

@Sovereign @Shlomo Does war thunder have a story? this game is mostly all story, with a breath of the wild clone tacked on, there'll be times where you're clicking conversation for hours without ever actually playing, or just have one littler interaction and then more dialog, saying "I'm gonna play genshin" is quite a bit like saying "I'm gonna watch One-Piece" ... it's a major time investment in sitting and watching things play out.

I mean, you can grind currency, to a certain extent, but it's limited, there's only so much available for quests and exploring the world, and then it';s just endgame stuff and dailies to get currency, you won't be getting a character off every banner, and ya can drop like $3000 to max out 1 limited banner charterer and their weapon, and they have 2 of them every 6 weeks i think.. and then ya don't have a chance to pull on their slot machine again for maybe as much as a year.. so they ride the fomo hard..

@Sovereign @Shlomo ohh, no, this is Gacha, the slotmachine is the point of the game, the game is just tacked on as bait, it's a dangerous genera to just jump into if you don't realize you're being manipulated or you have gambling problems.

@Sovereign @Shlomo 0.6% chance of getting a 5 star.. guaranteed 5 star at 90 pulls, 50% chance it's the one featured on the banner, and then another 90 pulls and if you don't get lucky ya get it on pity.. and ya need 6 of them for max refinement, and then the weapons they need to perform their best are worse, same sort of slot machine, but only gurentted after the second loss, so ya could toss 270 pulls at a bit less than $2 each before getting 1 copy of the weapon you need 5 copies of to max out i believe..

@Shlomo @Sovereign and, some gachas aren't 'random'.. it's a rolling counter, or this stuff wouldn't happen... lol.. (i play wuwa mostly these days, even star rail has gotten annoying)

@EdBoatConnoisseur @VidMasterEon @sickburnbro Aye, i would go as far as to say the majority of safety regs in the US auto industry at this point are actually a result of regulatory capture, those corporations using their purchase of lawmakers to put up barriers to entry and competition, which would be marginally tolerable if they were providing an equivalent product at an equivalent price, but their the regs they pushed for make that impossible. ..
