The Dotcom bust was along the same lines. Everybody dreaming of ways of using the internet without backing it up with tangible support or use cases. Ironically, most of those uses that were dreamed up back then have finally become reality, but it took billions of dollars and millions of programmers to get it there and they were offering 3 programmers, a swiss army knife, and a paperclip and pocketing the money then. The same is happening now. Also reminiscent of early off-shoring.

That average is likely influenced by their caste system. Those in the mid range caste are more likely to immigrate here, thus they may be competitive in IQ.

The real problem is their culture. It is only compatible with Christianity so far as it doesn't present direct conflict. Their culture allows many sins that ours doesn't. And even worse, it is very Karma centric. They tend to believe that people always deserve what they get, whether good or bad. Thus no need to strive.
