@inscius I share your same disdain for “futurists”. I thought it might be cool to be someone that focuses on what’s the latest tech and tries to pay attention to what’s coming next and inform everyone, but when I listened to This Week in Tech, the people that called themselves “futurists” were the reason I stopped listening to that show. They were so full of themselves it was insufferable. And for some reason they always think the world would be and should be more collectivist.

@Dan_Ramos I used to watch NFL football a fair amount. Haven’t had a desire to watch even highlights for quite awhile. It’s not a boycott. They have ruined any sincere interest I ever had for many many reasons, this type of bs being a top one.

There is ultimately no perfect justice system for rape and that’s why men should stay away from some women, especially if a high profile person, and women shouldn’t ever get blackout drunk with men they don’t know or fully trust. Used to be “not very lady like”.

As far as roofies, I think they can test for that and women should be taught to immediately consult with the police if they think something like that happened to them.

Yea I understand. I said “often”, not always. But I don’t know real stats and how often there are date rape accusations without physical evidence. I just know about the accusations against celebrities and public figures are many times he said, she said and even if he isn’t convicted his reputation is destroyed… and in some occasions even if a Democrat.

Exactly what I’m getting at. And with rape it’s often just he said, she said. And if there is no other proof besides “she said”, then he shouldn’t be convicted, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t do it. However, if it is proven that she indeed lied and knew she was lying, then she should be convicted of a crime, imho.

@Dan_Ramos the tough part is proving she’s guilty of lying when there is no proof he did or didn’t commit rape because she says there wasn’t consent and he says there was.

@Dan_Ramos ya. I’m just saying in general, yes women should go to jail for falsely accusing a man of rape, it just gets hard to prove in some common scenarios. However, women and men could greatly avoid those situations by never going to private places alone until in a serious relationship. But hey, I’m old fashioned and think that’s nothing but wise and don’t think that’s too much to ask and not impractical.

When I lived in a 3rd world country many didn’t like the US and didn’t like Americans, but nearly all would jump at any chance to come into the US and make more money.

You can see the guy on the side of road begging for money and see the sad life but when he flips you off when you don’t give him anything, I can know what he is feeling and realize it’s not something you want to foster.

Here is another example of the leftist ratchet going only one way against certain people. It’s all to serve themselves as far as self righteous shallow hipsters. It’s hip and cool to say white people suck, especially if you’re a hip white dude or a white feminist. But the moment they talk about another culture they talk about preservation. They say all cultures are equal until they talk about “white” culture. Their empathy is the same.

I know people that acted out against their parents and got pregnant or got put in juvi. Those parents should just chill out. They are just trolling.

And people with your same tactics run for school board and become principals and down play any grievance that comes to them that seems like an “old man” grievance while they bend over backwards to stay cool with the “cool kids”. And things just keep ratcheting and ratcheting while new norms seem like no big deal. Meanwhile parents are pulling their kids out of public school in record numbers and bad things ARE happening with kids.

However, I think universal healthcare is more likely than you think because while leftists do everything to completely ignore who disagrees with them, just as you have, they scream bloody murder and call people fascists when people ignore them. My brother’s daughter in California is in a class where 40% of the girls say they are bi or anything other than straight. That’s not liberation. That’s confusion.

I’m not an old man because I think kids should condition themselves to be grounded and principled and should harness and protect the power and fragility of sexuality.
