And universal healthcare is indeed further left and that is precisely the audience that the m5m panders too as much as they can while also making sure they fill up their coffers. It’s not like a ref that seems like he’s bias towards one team but is actually biased towards another. Money is not the only root to all evil. Pious priests can get very egotistical and so can a socialist that voluntarily takes a small salary to share what kind of a selfless intellectual powerhouse he is because he believes the correct path for everyone is the one that he comes up with.

The important thing to note here is that it was the hospital that was attempting to gouge. And doctors do the same thing by being the owners of the surgery centers they use. And surgery centers are required to have a choke on the market because nobody is allowed to start a surgery center without a “certificate of need” given by the state, which is controlled by the board which is controlled by doctors.

@ILoveAmericaNews Covid really revealed the man behind the curtain for pro sports for me. To see it without the crowd, it really looked trivial and it is. And now all of the players get traded from one team to another, which makes you feel really ridiculous for being loyal to a team.

But I still love hockey and it’s addictively easier to watch it than get back into the beer league with a bunch of people that are way better than me. Like it’s easier to eat a bowl of ice cream than cook a meal.

In my small hometown there was a fairly popular police officer that had a girlfriend that got caught with a little bit of weed, according to the rumors. The city clerk had it out for him before and used the rumor and everything she could find to make sure he got fired, and indeed he got fired.

So he ran for mayor, won, and then fired the city clerk.

@PNS they would have had to arrest nearly all of the parents in my small hometown when I was growing up. Most of us were latchkey kids starting around 9 or 10.

I hope they run those cops out of town.

I wish I could find the video of an Austrian woman that explains why they were so happy to see the Germans and then why they quickly began to regret it, especially if you were a parent of a kid with down syndrome. And secrecy and censorship was paramount to keeping it going.

There is a big difference between blocking anti-American propaganda from foreign countries and blocking all media that isn’t nationalized and flattering to a single party, which is socialism.

I started watching that Europa documentary you sent awhile ago. I got about 25 minutes into it until I decided to go to bed.

I agree. I think it’s important to not look at history like it is a Disney movie with a two dimensional villain that’s simply dumb and evil.

I will watch it some more. Eugenics was all over. It was strong in the US and Britain. The famous US pilot Charles Lindberg was pretty big on it, especially after living in Europe. Nazis definitely latched onto it to an extreme and Rothschilds were definitely used to prove that Jews can’t be trusted.

But regardless, if you give any entity the power that socialism has, nationalist or global, it’s only a matter of time before it gets co-opted.
