@kaia DM best money ever. It had value that was truly measurable, worth of known to all who used it daily. From the day euro was introduced the country's economy began its slow decline. A slippery slope, steadily downward, despite the passage of years. Unfortunately, someone had to pay for this change, and the heaviest hit were the poorest. People who had to work the hardest for their wages. It was the next step after unification that literally finished the country off. Like a knife in the back.

@aral By default yes, but there is an option in settings to change it as the user wish. Molly is a FOSS type of fork without all the proprietary trash included, like google services, closed blobs etc. The only one "downside" is the need to set up some external notifications service, because of the lack of google's. But that's not some hard thing to do. There are plenty of such, and much more privacy friendly, actually available. For other systems there are also foss variants of original Signal.

@aral Try a fork called "Molly" from molly.im This one should be working fine.

@uriel In vielen Fällen ist der Grund für die Ablehnung einer Erstattung für ein Medizinprodukt durch eine KK ganz einfach: der Mangel an Geld, das diese Kassen zuvor für anderen, völlig unnötigen Unsinn ausgegeben haben. Und deshalb haben sie jetzt nichts mehr, um für die Geräte zu bezahlen, die die Menschen brauchen. Damit Geld für etwas ausgegeben werden kann, muss es verfügbar sein. Um es verfügbar zu haben, muss es verdient werden. Und man kann es nicht verdienen, wenn man es nur ausgibt.

Die KK seit paar schöne Jahre lehnen fast alles so etwas ab, weil die kein Geld mehr zu Verfügung haben. Die Kassen sind lehr. Nur kein Mensch redet darüber öffentlich.
Auch kein Mensch redet heutzutage über die Gründe warum das ganze passiert. Diese Gründe sind leider politischer Natur. Ob es einem gefällt oder nicht, es sind einfach die Realitäten und Fakten.

@kaia Nope, you don't need to start from scratch. You can install it manually or even locally. Just download the particular package and install it "parallel" in the background by hand in the second terminal window opened.

His #Moshidon app is an great example of what your default application should look like and work like from the very beginning. It is an amazingly and very well made one-man project. Without the team of designers, without big resources, nor big money. But and just an one young person who did it. He like no one else deserves to be hired!
