The only Mama thing I’ve seen so far is the Golden performance. Then I immediately rewatched the Macy’s Day Parade Golden performance. I have lots to catch up on it seems. Any must see moments?

So I took up switch adapting toys last year as a hobby. And funny enough I had a bit of difficulty where and who to donate them to since I had left a job where I interacted more often with kids with motor disabilities. I reached out to a local organization that works to bring fun events and connect families with resources as they are fighting childhood cancer. They happily accepted some toys for an event and shared this lovely picture. #ATMaker #accessbility

I admire people who make creative things so much! So while my contribution is more techy and reworking existing toys and assembling specific designs, there is this opportunity to creatively curate the experience too. I knew those particular toys would delight! So I can point to that picture and say I contributed to that moment of joy!
Also Childhood cancer is awful. Cancer is awful.

@lookitmychicken it is a marketing thing. They have all these deals and everyone waits in line for a free slurpee… do they have those in Australia? I’m a little jealous of Australian 7-11 now. I would rate our 7-11 as mid tier gas station food. Like we have some that are 24 hour fresh food eateries, but none really have solid off the shelf stuff. That sandwich sounds delicious. I keep hearing my job is in demand in Australia, so I bring up moving to my family constantly 😄

@lookitmychicken do they celebrate 7-11 day down in your part of the world. Since we put the month first it is a July 11 here which is not a good time to go to 7-11 😄

@skrr it’ll be my son’s freebie. He gets to come with me since my friend couldn’t come. I may have preferred my friend to tell me before I got the tickets 🙄 but my son coming will be cute and fun.

@Fragglemuppet the loaf rose beautifully in the fridge. All that is left is letting the dough come to room temperature and baking it! I found some honey from the farmers market in my cupboard to go with it. Much needed on a cold morning and with current events. If you were a neighbor I’d offer to bring you a slice!

I busted out my old wheat grinder. I used to make bread from freshly ground flour all the time, but I haven't for years. Now I've got a loaf hopefully rising slowly in the fridge. The recipe said I could do the final rise in the fridge, so hopefully all the happy bacteria grow slowly and I have a yummy loaf I can cook tomorrow!!

@lookitmychicken I have finally helped lead a group I rely on to Discord somewhat. It is a huge group on Facebook, so if a portion go to Discord, I can see it being as active and fun as the Facebook group can be.

@hobiis so I see it raw on veggie trays East coast US. I’ll even eat it raw. But I’ll only include broccoli on veggie tray I make if I have a chance to give it a dip in boiling water then cool it with ice water. Not that I make veggie trays often hehe.

This method has a name. I can’t recall. But it isn’t cooked, just the edge is taken off. I do Like raw cauliflower more than raw broccoli. My whole family like cousins etc we collectively love broccoli. I figure it’s genetic
