@FunkyBob How long could that charge last, theoretically?

I had a holter monitor (medical monitoring device) do that to me a few months ago. the specialist said to just leave it in my car until I brought it back to the clinic in a few days.

but I don't have a car, or any space outside of my apartment.

I ended up wrapping it in a bunch of towels to attempt to muffle the sound, then tucked into the back of a cupboard in the bathroom (which is the only area of the apartment with a door).

There are many good videos on the Meditations for the Anxious Mind channel. I have not watched them all yet but I expect that I will.

From my balcony in central Melbourne today, I can hear intermittent cheering from crowds of people. I think maybe they're at bars watching sportsball matches??

I thought it might be the Australia vs USA match, but that's already over.

Right now it's Türkiye vs Paraguay, so maybe there are excited people watching that match at a venue near me.

I'm not particularly interested in the sportsball myself, but I like hearing the background noise of people who are getting into it.

@citro that's amazing. theoretically I could make an avatar to do my streaming with much less pain than I was anticipating. I currently have a png-tuber avatar for streaming and hadn't considered that anything fancier might be within my reach. 😲

I'm vegetating on the couch in front of #MetalShopMasters, which is a 2021 Netflix reality competition show for welders and fabricators.

I have a crush on Ivan Iler, who has the sweetest smoothest American accent I've ever heard, and is also a bit dishy.

Here's an older video of him in his workshop, showing us how to make a mini sharpie. The quality isn't perfect but I'm still mesmerised.

I told person at work that I'd like to visit Hengdian World Studios if I ever get to visit China again. and they said oh, have you watched The Untamed? when I said yes, they immediately followed up with asking how many times. 😂

they're not even a fan! but their sister is, and therefore they know what it's like.

@goldgust I'm a haikyuu enjoyer when other people around me are watching it, but I haven't sought it out on my own. Tsukishima was my favourite.

The main problem with having a job is that when I get home from work I am too tired and confused to make food happen. What can humans eat? Will this particular human be able to make some before bedtime? What even is food? Bedtime sounds nice.

@abuelaskpop I was in our local kpop store with @Musicappreciator7 today when this came on. we were about to leave but had to stay a little longer because we had to watch this. 😅
