(I think this is the first time the google mini has ever responded to something on the TV. And now I'm wondering why it doesn't happen more often.)

I am watching a somewhat chaotic episode of DaengNyang School in which Felix and Seungmin make pancakes.

At one point, Chan gets up close to the camera and says "Hello" slowly and clearly.

My google mini device, which is next to the TV, liked hearing his voice. It responded with, "It's really good to hear from you. I hope you're doing well."

I understand, google. We all love hearing from Channie.

Nomia loves the girl groups in a fairly sapphic way so their taste may overlap with yours ??

@Erzbet @sapphicscreaming yes sorry I worded that wrong! I'd say that most kpop videos of any kind (including MVs, dance practices, and performance videos like Studio Choom) *don't* have flashing lights. But when they do, they're not very good about warning for them.

@sapphicscreaming Coco (the one with the shaved head) makes me especially happy. XG are a bit unusual in that all the members are Japanese but they're a kpop group.

As I understand it, most kpop groups perform their choreography on Studio Choom.

I don't know much about it apart from: it's associated with one of the Korean entertainment networks (mnet), and they mostly show high-quality recordings of kpop choreography.

They also often release multiple versions of each performance, e.g.
- Original version with a mix of full-group and close-up shots
- Full focus, showing the whole group for the whole performance
- Focus cams, focusing on a single member through the whole performance
- Relay dance, which is usually a more fun and goofy version with the members lining up behind each other, and the members taking turns at the fron

@sapphicscreaming oh nooo I forgot #XG ! they are my fave girl group at the moment. I don't post about them on here but I do love them a lot.
