@TheOtherDibbler do you find that the process still feels worthwhile, even if there isn't yet the end product that you had intended to create?
I'm starting to think about the concept of *process* knitting versus *product* knitting. Some knitters mostly knit because they want the finished items. Others mostly want to experience the process of knitting, and aren't as attached to the finished products.
I'm very much a process knitter. I like it when people ask me to knit things for them. I can enjoy the process of knitting and then release the items to new owners when done.
Maybe that's similar to how I engage with other special interests?? I am more focused on the process than the product.
Right now I feel anxious that there aren't *any* finished products, in terms of what I'd originally envisaged.
But maybe the process can be enjoyable and worthwhile anyway, even if there's never an obvious finished product??
