     (I also recently discovered that the controls on YouTube shorts are supposed to disappear after a few seconds so they don't get in the way of viewing the actual video. And this feature is broken for me personally. Well, for other people too, I expect. I wasted 20 minutes of my life attempting to wrangle the accessibility settings on my pixel 6 pro phone to fix this, and I failed utterly.)

     @cinderdazzle612 yeah I saw a lot of people could fix this issue by twiddling various accessibility settings. I have twiddled all the settings that I can find in all the ways that I can think of.

     It's possible there's a secret chord that I can play and it will please the YouTube lord, but I haven't found it yet

     @lookitmychicken I saw others had this issue. Let me see if they found a solution! They had set up switch scanning accessibility features.
