@cwebber but have you considered satisfactory? :)
Report from UK media "Russian soldiers given church-blessed Warhammer-inspired seals to ‘keep them safe’" (https://archive.ph/hCRqb)
These seem to come from a company called Ratnik Technical, I've found reports on bits of Reddit that people have been doing this in a more adhoc manner for at least a year but I find it interesting that these are (a) coming out of a company and (b) getting blessed by priests. An interesting mix of things.
Seems this December we're getting a shiny new werewolf film that doesn't seem to be skimping on the amount of them seen pretty fully on screen at any one time.
Probably a mix of CGI and practical effects, and some full on screen transformation sequences.

@aral That is one of the saddest looking dogs I've seen in a long time :( I hope he has people giving him sympathetic pettings
@inthehands I just got inspired to meme by this awful statement.
@cstross this lead to me discovering the existence Muppet Burlesque with videos existing on youtube.
Yesterday lunchtime featured learning how to weave jute twine into slightly more robust cords, one of which I then test singed to remove the fuzzies and gently oiled and it came out okay as a small 2.5-3mm utility cord (I then wrapped a present in it). I think I could make the 2 ply version neater with practice on the splices and now wondering about making a 3x2 ply version.

@cwebber I love that scene.
Step one: its like ships passing at sea and if we don't see it its gone and there's no way to see it without knowing its there.
Step two: I will set up an alert that monitors the whole ocean in the above metaphor lol.
Oh and this evenings writing backed up by listening to Ulvesang on loop.
@mrvi you may find them refreshing and nice to listen to if you've not already come across them, its very atmospheric mostly acoustic folky outside influenced I believe explicitly pagany vibes (yes I checked, they aren't nazis)
