    I agree, but, at least for me, I would only want one in a shit has hit the fan scenario. If I end up with motor problems that can't be fixed in the driveway, I need to swap the motor or the vehicle.

    I like a great many improvements that come with modern cars, but I still want an old clunker to mess around with.

    If it's completely mechanical, there's nothing you can't fix in your driveway, with help if you need from the internet or a buddy, or whatever.

    You can't just grab a wrench and some parts from the junkyard and fix an ECM though

    My wife's cousin works in billing for the local mega hospital, and she was telling us a story yesterday how she was dealing with an illegal who racked up over $200k during a stay that originated in the ER. After said illegal was denied Medicaid coverage on the bill, the hospital just wrote off the entire balance because they had no social security number so no way to do collections.

    Same company that just handed off the entirety of their call center employees to some Mexican company to cut down costs.

    Make no mistake, I feel nothing but hatred for said hospital. They probably own 25% of the commercial property in the city so they are everywhere and were the driving force behind getting some series of laws written in the state that prevent any new doctors providing a service if there is already enough 'coverage', giving themselves a virtual monopoly on the entire area.

    To top it off, the other hospital older than them can't get quality staff so it's almost a death sentence going there, forcing everyone to use the behemoth.

    I can get behind how much easier it is for the producer to mix individual tracks together when finishing a song, and it's faster/cheaper/etc due to less mistakes, but I much prefer the sound of a band playing the song together at once when recording.

    It's awful. When I used to go to church, I played bass with the band... When one of the many drummers quit going, we played with a computer generated drum beat for a time, and it made me never want to pick up the bass again.
