    @dcc @dj I have some bridges and interfaces starting on boot that I want to remove. But I didn't set them in rc.conf.

    @dj There's plenty of support, but it's almost entirely for standard configurations. I must have set some stuff in a non-standard way at some point, and finding how to resolve (remove) these configurations is turning out to be quite the pain in the ass.

    So I was going to work on importing preferences into my program. Instead I spent the entire time adding error management to my program.

    @Suiseiseki @PraxisOfEvil Do you know if there's a program that will allow you to receive SMS without a SIM? I've wanted this functionality for years but never found anything. I guessed with the phone companies having a monopoly the answer would be no, but maybe you know more?

    @dcc Same, mostly. I could stand to move almost everything else back to host. But TBH it's a security model I've been using for a long time and it hasn't failed me yet. So I take a "if it ain't broke" stand on the subject.

    @dcc Yes. AFAIK it in fact can. I haven't tried it though, so I cannot say with 100% certainty, but that's what I was waiting for too and why I've finally made the move.

    @dcc Again I still need to do more deep dives, though I've read the man page for it pretty thoroughly.

    It might also be because it's a raw image converted from qemu. Might be a lot of cruft in the block device hanging around.

    Bhyve emulation is significantly slower from my tests. Even on shitty hardware and all sorts of poor optimizations qemu still markedly improves emulation speed.

    I will need to look into this further. But as it stands it's a pretty big bummer.

    @Suiseiseki @meowski better to download the content if you're going to watch it at all, store it and use whatever player you like. I believe MPV streams from youtube unless I'm mistaken, and in any case this way you can use whatever video player you'd like.
