If smartphone companies actually cared about the design of their devices they wouldn’t make them out of the slipperiest most fragile materials at sizes that can’t be held onto with one human hand. If those two things weren’t happening I could use my phone without a case and enjoy the design!

Rant because my phone fell out of my pocket onto the tile floor while I was sitting still. Entirely because they make phones out of glass and astroglide 🤬

@killyourfm I love them for comfort but I'm not a huge fan of the soft-touch material they use because it wears and gets gross pretty quick. I still have my MX Master 3S for a backup but I've moved to a Rapoo MT7600 (not a great brand name at least for english speakers lol)

@killyourfm I thought so too but the price they quote is only for your first 3mo of owning a mint mobile account. It's hidden quite well in the fine print. I'm on the more expensive unlimited plan. The site says that should cost $90 for 3 months and it did. However my next 3 months were $120. They want you to prepay a year at a time for that lowest pricing but they don't make that super clear. They also make it pretty unclear how to change to that 12mo plan.

@killyourfm I switched from Google Fi to Mint about 5mo ago thinking I'd save some money but Google Fi was cheaper in the long run and I'll be switching back next cycle. Coverage/service wise though, it's fine. No noticable difference from Google Fi that I've found. Although Fi supports data-only sims and smart watches and mint doesn't afaict if that matters to you.

Anyone know where I can find some good information on burr geometry? Videos or articles or whatever? I’d like to learn a little more on how different types of burrs and burr geometry affect the coffee. I know the basics like different burrs create different particle size distribution and how that affects the flow and extraction, but I want a deep dive on different geometries and how manufacturers come up with their burrs. How do they know what to change to achieve certain goals? #coffee #burrs

@killyourfm So far it gets a 10/10 would recommend from me. I’m really digging mine. I’m probably gonna spend most of my day on the SteamDeck OLED today. Finally gonna start Sea of Stars.

I had several meetings today so I didn’t get much of an opportunity to get out of my chair and away from my desk. So when the opportunity finally presented itself I thought I would get up and stretch. I immediately threw out my back upon standing up. I am in large amounts of pain now. I guess the lesson life has taught me today is there are no breaks and I should get back to work. :neofox_sob:

@killyourfm @cassidy lol , I started in christian rock too (gotta love growing up in religious households) but by about high school music was a constant. I was constantly picking up new bands and genres (and still do) starting with emo/screamo/punk/alt. Then getting some modern and prog metal, Folk, EDM, lofi and about everything in between. Pretty much the only thing I didn’t/don’t listen to is country. Some bluegrass is cool, some western is ok too but pop country for the most part sucks imo.
